Something is happening to Tempest. Her powers are starting to awaken, but it's nothing like the ninja's instructor, Sensei Wu, had described. Even her hastily decided upon partner doesn't understand what is happening, and his entire life had been dedicated to the study of unnatural phenomena.
But that's not even the worst of it. The Ruling Shadow isn't ready to give her up, and are chasing her not just with their operatives, but  with the bounty hunters of Ninjago.
