Katie "Blaze" Blackwood, daughter of Charlie Blackwood is a fighter pilot, much like those her mother was surrounded by when she was Katie's age. Katie got into the Navy, and became best friends with Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, and graduated second in her class. They both ended up going to Top Gun together.
One day, when she gets called back to Top Gun, she reunites with all her former classmates. What happens when her best friend comes back and everything is different. What happens, when her teacher has been in her life way longer than she thought he was, and her life gets flipped upside down.
I do not own any top gun characters except Katie and her plot. Original characters and plot pieces from the movies are not mine.

Tensions exist, but they are not strong enough to deny the love Bradley and Lucy have for one another. Bradley and Lucy grow close, and he helps overcome her fears of flying. Except one day, Lucy realizes everything he has told her was a lie. She ends up leaving him for DC so she can go back to being a full time fighter pilot. While there, she runs into some old friends, and even makes an enemy or two. With her new life, she thinks she escaped Bradley entirely, until one day, on deployment, he arrives with a squadron for a special mission.Complete
