This Epic Poem is about the pandemic as much as it is about Aspen. It focuses on her experience of being sent home from college exacerbating her anxiety and depression. It does not help that she has a creature who latched onto her when she was born.

Sleeping Beauty Syndrome
A pandemic threatens to wipe out the world's population. When more than 60% of the world's population has died, a vaccine is hastily developed and used without extensive testing. The vaccine may save the lives of the remaining 40%, but there is a 50/50 chance that it will put people into a coma and threaten them with never waking up again. Moreover, the vaccine is not enough for everyone. In the midst of this chaos and struggle for survival, Y/N, a stylist at KQ, has to watch friends die or fall into a coma. With only 3 remaining breathing members who stayed awake, a hope and fear begins that the 5 other guys can be saved. 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙄𝙄𝙄 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 The bad news: Phoenix has turned into gold. The good news: so have their enemies. It's also possible that apart from their group of three, so have the rest of the human kind. Meanwhile, in the cottage, life more or less goes on. As Najwa mourns both her mom and the loss of her closest friend, Rain can't tear his gaze away from the golden remnants of their enemies and Rio does their best to keep everyone fed and healthy. Aspen isn't much help, not when he is holed up in his room, terrified of the power he holds. It's been said that you only realize the importance of someone when they're gone. Whether or not that is true, Aspen would give his life to get Phoenix back. There's guilt, undoubtedly, but also the fact that he has a huge crush on him. They have never even had the chance to kiss or confess their feelings, and that's just tragic. But hey, there's always a chance for a long-distance relationship. As you might imagine, the connection from one world to another isn't ideal. But if they can make it work, there's a chance to return Phoenix and the rest of the infected back to life.Complete

Social Distancing
Can you find love during the outbreak of a pandemic? Maggie is a brilliant, upcoming, and socially awkward scientist. After being recruited for a research team that is developing a COVID-19 vaccine, she unexpectedly finds love at the worst possible moment. Noah is a carefree university student. Maggie isn't like any girl he'd ever met but he's immediately drawn to her just as the pandemic separates them. Is it even possible for them to create and sustain a relationship? This story inspired by real events that took place Feb-May 2020 but it is fiction, fiction, fiction. This story is complete.
