Ijaru, an heir to the throne of the DarkWings, has always wanted by like his father. He believes it is his responsibility to continues the DarkWings legacy like his father and his ancestors.

But the work becomes more difficult for the inexperienced king when a dark matter race of monster emerges and begins to threaten Ijaru's kingdom. Dragons begin to fall into the claws of the creature, and it is up to Ijaru to prevents the downfall of his kingdom... and continent.

In a world where a core can decimate continents, and realms breaking apart and crashing into each other, Ijaru must find out what being king truly is. Ijaru will fight, he must fight, for the future of his kingdom and possibly... the world.

Wings of Fire story! My name is Moon. I live in a world where everyone is tested. From the age sixteen to eighteen. In truth, you test yourself everyday the moment you find out what the world has come to. You test youself wondering if you're strong enough, smart enough, or brave enough. But most of all to see if you will do the right thing in the darkest times. Your eighteenth birthday is the biggest day of your life. The day you find out if you will fight, or die. Fear engulfs your body every waking moment, the very thought of death makes people lose hope, and it almost did for me too. And in those final moments, when you really don't know if you will live, you wonder, is dying now worse than living in something you hate so much. Do I live for something I despise? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7.
