The year is 1964. It's the midst of the Vietnam War. Life is altering for many people but especially for Rosie Warren and her mother. 
Rosie just moved from Little Rock, Arkansas, to Port Orford, Oregon, a small town on the Pacific Coast. As the the new kid in a small town, everyone is curious who Rosie and her mother are. They have secrets to keep and are wary of sharing too much with the people of Port Orford. Rosie wishes that her junior year of high school is simple and breezy, but she finds herself making the wrong friends. Will she find friends who will make her a better person? Or will she become mixed with the people of the city? Rosie needs to find herself before she can improve her relationships. Will she and her mother be able to escape their past or will it return to present more struggles? Find out about Rosie's choices as her story becomes Unraveled.
