First Love Never Dies

Los Rosarios, the town where every year, a woman goes missing. Dwellers claim that the ghost of Lakan emerges to take souls to relive his grieving every Marcela's death anniversary. This urban legend stems from the great love that was fell into tragic ending in 1998.

The Benedicto, a rich and prominent family who ruled the town for generations. Just like the tale as old as time: Marcela, the family's adopted, youngest, and only female child, falls in love with the mansion gardener, Lakan. They kept their relationship secret in fear of disapproval. However, her family still learns and thwarted, but later accepts the truth.

Everything appears to be perfect, not until one fateful night, Lakan was murdered. He was found on the river, floating and dead. Ensued to Marcela's devastation after his sudden death, she committed suicide by hanging herself in the tree near the river.

Twenty years passed, when an orphan girl from nowhere, Aly, found herself in the town. The people quiver with fear upon meeting her, as she looks exactly like the long-dead Marcela. They believed that Marcela reincarnated as Aly and she would make Lakan's misery bring to a halt.

The town started to question her existence. Is it really the past attempting to change its fate to the present, or is this simply a haunting chaos in the present biding its time to disrupt the future?
