Emerson's not like a lot of other girls and not like the usual "unusual" girl that everyone falls in love with at the end. Emerson goes through a lot at home and at school and simple things come off difficult for her sometimes, but she tries really hard to get through the day. She doesn't let anyone in except a few and she doesn't get involved with people she doesn't need to be involved with, until she meets a dumbass fuckboy.
