Tried something different with my writing style here. I was reading over some of Gotex's Exile Series posts and got a spark of inspiration. Also, he told me to write something about "the sensation of distortion", I wasn't sure how I was going to make a full post about that without connecting a story into it somehow. I had a few ideas; like having Altair energy distort the universe to erasure, and tell the story in the perspective of an Earthling family and their last experiences together on Earth as reality slowly crumbled; but I didn't want to create a whole family of OCs so fuck that. So I just kinda played around a bit with some concepts until I came up with this. I'm not sure what I was trying to accomplish with this but I'm happy with the way it came out anyway. A fanfiction set in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe but with the main character being Shadow the Hedgehog, set in it's own universe with a timeline very similar to the main games Shadow must stop a new super-villain who goes by the name The Cyborg, a mad scientist who seems to be hell bent on taking Shadow out and acquiring alien technology to further his goals. As of now, this is a first draft and once I've completed every single part I will then begin working towards a second draft and after that I will continue to tweak it up until I see it worthy of being made into a comic book. The story will have two sides, Team Dark and The Cyborg's. All characters except for original ones like The Cyborg and Lucy for example are owned by their respective owners but yes you can use the original characters too.
