Amidst custody fights and clouds of smoke, Wilbur grew tired of wondering if his mum was okay with watching him grow from afar when he knew she probably wasn't even watching. Yet he still vowed to make her proud - accepting that she didn't care felt like trying to swallow a pill that had already dissolved in his mouth.
