This story lies in a foreign land far from what we know today, in the age of Kings and Queens, wars and terrors, Lords and their lands; it's a fantasy romance like no other. A story between a Duke's daughter, beaten by her father, and a drunken self-absorbed duke only out to better his name and claim. The duke has no intentions to foster the tragic daughter more than necessary to marry her off. he was Abusing her as he spoils his eldest daughter Erika to a marriage of her dreams. The duke wedding his daughter off to a lowly ranked knight that is rumored to be poor and has a hatred of women.
