The duke has no intentions to foster the tragic daughter more than necessary to marry her off. he was Abusing her as he spoils his eldest daughter Erika to a marriage of her dreams. The duke wedding his daughter off to a lowly ranked knight that is rumored to be poor and has a hatred of women.
