It's eighth year at Hogwarts, and with Harry and Ron gone to Auror training, Hermione is the only one of the golden trio completing her studies. She hopes for a normal year for once, a year where she relaxed and enjoys her time as Head Girl, but nothing is ever calm for the Golden Trio's Golden Girl. Draco Malfoy, former Death Eater (though pardoned) returns to Hogwarts for his eighth year. Not many people are... excited by this development, and Draco pays the price. It doesn't help that he's Head Boy. He's sure the Head Girl would hate him and made things even harder than it already is. He's not wrong, but he wishes he wasn't. Both of their wishes for a peaceful are also ruined by the damn Sorting Hat.

In their eighth year at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy is quietly unraveling. Plagued by crippling depression and anxiety, he battles the weight of his past-his family's betrayal, his role in the war, and the shadows that never seem to fade. Harry Potter, on the other hand, is haunted by the lingering effects of his PTSD, the scars of war still fresh in his mind. Together, they're two broken souls, struggling to function in a world that's moved on without them. When their paths cross once more, a fragile understanding forms between them, each sensing the other's pain. As they grow closer, they find that they might be the only ones who truly understand what the other is going through. Through quiet nights of vulnerability and shared silence, they begin the slow, painful process of healing, learning that sometimes, being broken doesn't mean you can't fix each other. But the road to recovery is never easy, and the shadows of their pasts threaten to tear them apart. Can love be the thing that saves them both? Or will they fall apart before they can ever truly come together?
