Wei Ying knew he didn't have a choice, he had to act now and fast! If he didn't, he would lose all he had left.

Shijie, A-Cheng, A-sang, Xichen-ge, A-Ning, Qing-jie, his small Wen family and........Lan Zhan.

He couldn't, he mustn't, he wouldn't, but faith had other plans.
"Please forgive me, just let me bear it all. I deserve it either way".

With his last words spoken, he turned away and walked into the darkness, refusing to acknowledge the tears streaming across his face and the desperate screams behind him.

With one last turn around and smile, he said, "I love you". And walked into the darkness.
