My life isn't normal, and I'm okay with that.
My name is Meredith Waters. I'm 17 years old, and I live in a small town in North Carolina, called Bois Sombres, which in French means Darkened Woods.You could say I'm pretty normal. That isn't the case. You see, most girls my age are interested in shopping at Gucci, Prada, Charlotte Russe, things like that, but me? No way in Hell. I hunt vampires. And it's good too, because this town didn't get its name for nothing. Supernatural beings have resided here since 1793. And hunting them have been in my family since The Salem Witch Trials.
I've hated vampires since my father was killed by one, every single one I come into contact with dies before they blink eyes. At least, that's how it was before I met the kind-hearted, brilliantly gorgeous Ashton, and his dangerously handsome and lethal brother, Jordan.
I used to hate vampires, but now I'm not so sure.

I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
