You and Kawanishi Taichi have lived next door to each other your whole lives. As children, you two started learning about various and things and would try new things together.

When middle school rolled around, Kawanishi acknowledged having a crush on you and being jealous whenever someone confessed their feelings to you- be it boy or girl.

For high school, you were thrilled when Kawanishi told you he was going to Shiratorizawa, and you wanted to go as well. But your parents made you go to Aoba Johsai while Kawanishi's parents made him stay in the dorms at Shiratorizawa.
