Entranced

If there is one thing Shin Hyejeong doesn't understand, it's why her parents never allowed her to go to the circus out of town.

Little does she know that it would be her unraveling.

Shin Hyejeong is every successful chaebol's dream daughter. She acts responsibly, does well in her studies, stays away from the public eye for all the good reasons and above all, obeys her parents' every instruction. They know what's best for her, after all. Now twenty-four, Hyejeong, is intent on continuing her studies abroad, and believes she is prepared enough to take on the world without her parents narrating every step of the way.

But they have other plans.

When they announce that she is to be married off because she's not allowed to own the company by herself, Hyejeong is shocked. Her hopes of finally having her well-deserved freedom are crushed.

In an effort to escape the bond of matrimony that her parents have decided for her, she runs away to the Cirque de Envoûtement to hide from her world of wealth, fame and more. What she doesn't expect is to enter another alternate reality where just about anything is possible. From bold acts to the equally fascinating performers, Hyejeong is about to learn the complexities behind who we really are after the curtains have been closed. As much as she tries not to be too drawn into the fantasy of the cirque, in the end it becomes the very thing that she lives for.

Here is the story of a woman on the brink of adulthood, learning to find courage to stand up for herself, even if it means going against the people she loves.

Includes Block B, Laboum and SPEED as part of the circus troupe. Cameos by BTS and EXO (in each subunits) in later chapters as they are intertwined with the circus.
