Want a smartphone that has apps that can turn you into a cat, make you invisible, cast a fireball? Do just about anything?

That's what happens to Margot when she finds a smartphone after helping an elderly neighbour mess up her house.

Investigating the mystery of the smartphone will lead Margot and her friends on a quest filled with adventure and danger. The answers are to be found in Atha, a world of magic that sits alongside our own, a world filled with extraordinary characters and weird magic. But not all is well in Atha. A powerful enemy is on the march.

And he wants his phone back.

"Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. Pallu, at seventeen, is exhausted from training as a warrior and as one of the Queen's elite White Guard, a group of telekinetics who protect the kingdom from evil mages. Already, she has traveled and battled more than most grown men. What she needs is a holiday, but naturally that holiday can't go without the king's being assassinated, her father nearly dying, her own life being threatened, and oh, she can suddenly hear a voice in her head. So much for holidays. Pallu returns home to meet this voice who turns out to be Rumah, a young woman who shares an uncanny resemblance to Pallu. Together these new friends must fight to save their kingdom from the chaos and destruction of traitorous mages. But at what cost? ***I've finally gotten all the chapters loaded! I hope you enjoy!*** As of 7/12/2020, I've updated/revised chapters 3 & 4. As always, I covet your comments. This is one of my older novels (over ten years old) that I stumbled across and wanted to share.
