This story is set sometimes after the main plot of ACWNR.
Levi quickly climbs up the ranks and becomes a new captain in the Scout Regiment. No one aside from Erwin and Hanji and Amber knows about his inability to read and write. Being in the underground, he'd never had the privilege to, not that it was important down there anyway. But, things changed now, when he was struggling to fit in with the other surface dwellers. At the request of Erwin, Amber decides to take up the task to teach him because she was the only person capable of it.
