The world was black and white. With no color. Something was supposed to happen, someday, my momma told me, that made you see color, a very magical moment. And I had to wait for my moment. That special moment that she said would make my heart light up and fill with joy, and make me see the world more differently and in a wonderful way that I had never seen before.

I have no idea what to say, I promised her, but like an idiot I broke that promise. "Say something!"
