Look, but Don't See

Hi Everyone! I love writing poetry, so some of my teachers, and many of my friends suggested I post them here on Wattpad. I hope you all enjoy it :)

This one is called " Look But Don't See "

There was this girl who had a dream,
The world had colour and it seemed,
That nothing could wipe the smile off her face,
Or the way she felt, happy, in that place.

So there's this girl you see,
Wishing to be like you or me
Pretending as if all is well,
When the truth is her world is like hell.

Alone in her empty mind,
The girl looked around and what did she find?
A place where the happiness is supposed to be,
But nothing inside, no humanity.

No one enjoys the dark, yet that's where she resides,
No one can stop feelings forever, but to who will she confide?
She can look and look, but she won't see,
Since blind is what she'll always be.
