The younger sister of Daenarys Targaryen, Alyssays (Aly) was born at the end of Roberts rebellion, just hours before she and her siblings had to be smuggled out of Dragonstone for fear of their lives and losing their mother in an early birth that kept the small princess sickly throughout most of their childhood. Her brother resented her for the loss of their mother but was fiercely jealous and possessive of her. Dany was her most fervent protector and the only thing she ever defied her brother about was his treatment of Aly.
