Justin Oaklins has been moving all around the world for most of his life due to his Dad's job. His Father, Elijah Oaklins, is a very known and popular entrepreneur who goes town to town, making money on fixing and organizing stores, restaurants, and basically anything that you can make money from. And after years of moving around, he finally thinks it's time to settle down for a bit after getting a job offer in a small town in Virginia, none other than The Plains.

When the towns council gives Mr. Oaklins the job to be CEO and lead manager of all the diners and restaurants in the town, he fires many people in the hope of reorganizing and modernizing the business'. Two of which being Max Woodland's parents.

Max Woodland has spent his entire life living in a small town in Virginia called The Plains, and, boy, does he have it all. Popularity, friends, looks, and amazing parents who love him with all of their hearts. His whole life, however, comes crashing down when a popular businessman comes into his town to take over all the food franchises, firing over half of the workers, including in parents.

Now, Max has to work three jobs to support him, his little sister and both of his parents, all while keeping up his popular reputation and doing well in school. Not an easy task. His life is a wreck and what better to take it out on then the son of the evil man that fired his parents?

What happens when a particularly bad day for Max results in a fight with Justin in the cafeteria lunch line? How are they going to put an end to this rivalry to put the feuding to a stop? But, most importantly, who started it?
