The citizens of the Commonwealth of Britannia are in the festive mood as Victory Day, the anniversary of the Commonwealth's victory in the Great World War, is upon them, and it's up to Annika Walsh and her fellow members of the Commonwealth Observation and Information Service to maintain the security of the holiday's annual parade. That is, until a prominent Member of Parliament is found dead in his home. With evidence pointing to Irish Nationalists, Burtonite Revolutionaries, and an Elvan religious order, Annika and her colleagues have a task before them in ensuring the safety of their nation.
