The coin shaped moon projected it's sliver mist light upon the place. It was way pass midnight, like a typical night, on a typical day.
But too bad that day wasn't a typical day.
Eight pairs of hurried footsteps could be heard along the school corridor, beams of light slashing upon the walls and floor of the school from the flashlights the children brought.
"I have a gut feeling that what we're gonna do isn't right... " A boy said, fear within every word. A girl beside him glared at him before she turned her head forward.
"This school isn't right, and if we don't do anything, it never will be."

That's when the trio managed to get swept up by a Stymph, (Y/N) held onto Agatha for dear life as they dangled mid-air, fill with adrenaline and fear, until they eventually ended up in a palace or school Sophie was going on about. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed.
