I feel someone looking at me, so I look around to see who it is. I stop and lock eyes with a man who has short brown hair, brown eyes and a square jaw.
I'm frozen in place and I can't stop staring at him. It looks like he can't look away either. I haven't seen him before. Maybe he's new in town...? Suddenly the air smells like... mint... and strawberries. A moment after, a beautiful blond haired woman walks up to him and links her arm with his.
"Ready?" she asks him. He's still looking at me and it's like time stands still for a moment.
"Huh?" he asks. "Ready to go? We got to get to the party tonight, remember?"
"Oh... yeah... right."
Our connection breaks and I can finally look away. What just happened? I felt a pull to him like I had to go to him. Slowly getting on my bike, I make my way home. I can't stop thinking about him. This is so weird.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. But she learns that there is something about her that is special and that she is not only human. Meet Jared Gray, the person that kidnapped Isabelle because of her being his mate.
