It's 6 months after the Revolutionary War, and the one and only Arthur Kirkland is stuck in a mental asylum after experiencing the loss of a close friend. With a horrid over-seer, even worse 'fits of insanity,' and constant loneliness, he figured this was his new life. Yet Francis Bonnefoy, someone whom he had never fully trusted, comes to the rescue. Can the Frenchman help him regain his sanity with love and care, or will Arthur be forever doomed to sit alone in an asylum?
