No one ever knows what destiny has in store for them or the souls connected to theirs.
X is a girl who has never known good to come from her fate. After finally escaping a life of human experimentation, she thought her horrors were over; what she doesn't know, is that they have just begun. A strange man, who calls himself Caliden, has taken her captive. He oddly seems familiar, but she knows he cannot be connected to her past, right? If thats not odd enough, every time he touches her, she sees visions of another man, named Aaerone. Who is he and what does he have to do with her? Is he even real? Could Caliden be there to take her back to her life of horrors? Or is he her to take her life? With these questiions in mind, X must strive to stay alive, and see what destiny has in store for her.

Destiny Halliwell, is a simple yet reserved business woman with a big problem. Destiny harbors deep dark secrets from her past that haunts her to this day, yet she still fights to live a normal life. Now with her secret past and secrets, she still hides, to her power of a goddess, she has the choice to use it for good or evil. As the saying goes, "Absolute Power Corrupts", Does she let the power corrupt her or does she overcome the corruptible nature of the power. It all started years ago, from a young age Selene had always been....well different. Some say the girl was marked by Destiny, others said she was cursed. Out of 100 girls she was the only one to survive a horrifying ordeal, One she hardly remembers herself. All she knows is years later she's a rare type of mutant, she went against the normal laws and rules, such as having no emotion. She could still access them, she could still feel and bond. Yet she never wanted to. At least not until destiny decided to kick her in the face. And to think it all started that simple stupid winters day in a run down town in a seemingly empty market. That's when it all changed. Now I own absolutely nothing, some ideas have been altered to fit my story. But I do not own any of the characters except for Selene and any other OC. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
