!I got this idea from a 'what if' theory made by ^Hyrule gamer^¡

•The hero of the wild failed at protecting hyrule , dying of being shot by a gaurdian. Zelda realised she had to fulfill her duty even tho she was devastated. There was no time to cry over her knights death. She went to fullfill her duties in the castle, leaving links body behind to fade away.•

•5 years later, in a village called hateno , a child was born . The child's name was link. His mother gave him the name link to honor the passed hero. The mother passed three years after birth. The father was so devastated over his wife's death that he started to go out every day to drink. Leaving his three year old child alone.•

•12 years later, link and his best friend , Cassie , left to the dueling peaks stable to pick up some resources and decided to stay for the night. As they went to bed and fell asleep , link had a nightmare.•
