Lila Harrington never thought growing up in Hawkins would end up being a total fucking nightmare.
Eight months after the tragedy that struck Starcourt Mall, and Eleven and the Byers family moved away to live in California, have a fresh start. Lila and the others remained in Hawkins, and this year Lila was hoping for a bit of normality in her life, no more fighting monsters or the Upside Down.
What Lila was hoping for was not happening, as the gang back in Hawkins started investigating a string of gruesome murders in the town. Lila's wishes to not enter the Upside Down or hear someone talk about it again, were not granted, as she and the gang reunite to fight this new entity, Vecna, who has an interesting past.
While dealing with Vecna, Lila is still struggling with the loss of Billy and the idea of falling in love again just to have the fear of losing them, as she's faced with the leader of The Hellfire Club, Eddie Munson who have quite the past together.
Will this time be different? Or will it end with tragedy?
