The Reader is a previous friend of Alastor as well as Husker when they were alive, at first you were just supposed to be his victim until he started to get attached to you. You knew who he was and what he did and you still loved him. As you two got closer together in the living world you became lovers. You saw Alastor die in the living world and you had also died with him, you lost each other in hell because you both were not even able to recognize each other due to your new forms and only met each other again when you went to the Happy Hotel but he still did not recognize you.

The hotel has provided angeldust with a temporary escape from Valentino, however angeldust is paying the price whenever he is in the studio. Any and all of Val's frustrations are taken out on him. Husker is finding the Hazbin Hotel, and that doing Alistor's light work is better than he originally expected. Although that may be due to his new found love interest, tho he won't admit that. (Yes In this story they're like more than friends but aren't officially official in the beginning.)
