Summer Evelina Gabris. Such a beautiful name yet hidden behind her mogul parents. That's fine with her as long as she gets to stand behind the scenes and do the little things that make her happy. She likes to volunteer at the local pet shelter every so often to visit the dog her parents won't let her adopt. She likes to skid past the law books her dad graciously (and forcefully) provided to her and rather reach for a book on people falling hopelessly in love like every other 17 year old girl. Summer enjoys being average and yet her parents beg to differ.

Jace just about everyday does something different to add to his list of adventures as the most known boy in school. It's his senior year and he is looking for something to top his list and end his high school year's with awe. He isn't the player type so bedding a record breaking girls wasn't on the list yet he wants a challenge. That's when he spots her. Maybe it was the dog hair that covered the overalls or the glasses that were slipping off her face as she handed him the dog with not so much cheer but as he read the name tag, he knew he had found it.

Summer knew as she handed over the dog that had stolen her heart back in 8th grade, that her face matched the feeling in her heart. As she looked at Jace in front of her she sensed something different and felt a push telling her to not look at him to long but she couldn't help the curiosity that peeked.pushing up her glasses, she smiles at him eventually waiting for him to walk away like most customers but the words that leave his mouth nearly made her run into the cage Sparky (the beloved dog) came out of.
