Teenager Violet, has the chance to visit the  town 'Idania.' This town, home to villages and a castle, is where Violet is set to stay for three weeks with a boy of her same age, Emmett. The trip is supposed to be relaxing, peaceful and adventurous, but the tables turn once Violet and her newfound friend as they discover a secret plot to overthrow the kingdom and have them both murdered.
