Before Tara, Jax had a major crush on his mom's close friend's daughter, Faith Unser. They never made it anywhere past friends as she was sent away to fancy private schools by her mother and father until he came back and became Sheriff of Charming.
She moved back while Tara and Jax were dating but eventually they fell apart and Tara left to pursue her dreams.
For Faith it seemed like life was bleak with her father being diagnosed with cancer, her parent's marriage in shambles, and her old crush was lost in the mix of life.
