Mature
A flash fiction piece, told in the second person, of a Cherokee man sorting through the trauma he had accumulated throughout his life.
The second-person narration style is meant to invite non-Indigenous people into this tragic piece of history, as well as to make a statement of how Native peoples are often "told" their beliefs, experiences, and histories. I highly recommend looking into the history of "Indian" boarding schools.
