The Forgotten Chronicles of Dysfunctional X-Nauts - A Paper Mario Story

18 parts Complete

After receiving a mysterious map in the mail, Mario sets off to the sketchy town of Rogueport for the adventure of a lifetime. Joined by many colorful, loyal allies, he must fight to save Princess Peach from the clutches of a dastardly organization called the Secret Society of X-Nauts! That's not what this story is about. Instead, this is the tale of how the X-Naut leadership got to that point. This explores the origins and motivations of Lord Crump and Sir Grodus. It starts out significantly before TTYD and will eventually lead up to the TTYD prologue. There's lots of X-Nauts. Each and every one of them is stupid in their own unique way. Note: this is an older fic ported over from AO3!
