here's a scene to enjoy because i suck at summaries spoilers ahead obv Dancing as always been something i loved so when i saw his hand extended for me it was no surprise my breath got caught in my throat "would you like to dance with me?" "yea-yes of course but you know we are in a hallway and we don't have any music playing right?" just as i finished speaking i could hear ballroom music but it wasn't coming from the hallway it was like i could hear it in my head and oh was it magical not just the song but the feeling i got when he grabbed my hand and we started spinning and moving down the hallway the music getting louder and faster the more we danced until we reached the end of the windows lining the room and he twirled me a grin the first grin i've had in a long time spread across my face until i look back and see he is gone like he wasn't even here to begin with the music has stopped but my skirt and the curtains are still moving i step forward looking around hoping i didn't imagine it, why would he leave? was he even here to begin with? wrapping my hands around my arms i turn to head back to my room praying to God that this wasn't a dream hoping he was really here hoping he was dancing with me i pinch my arm but i forget i feel pain even in my dreams... how am i to tell if it was real how am i to tell if he was really here? A/N: There are some things you write as an author that actually make you gasp and go that was me?! And that scene is ones that does that just imagining I'm her and that's happening to me makes me feel all sorts of things

Born into power, he commands empires: companies, hotels, clubs, restaurants... and an illegal empire that stretches far beyond. The ruler of The Great Vipera Empire, he didn't just inherit his throne-he built it higher Their paths cross through an arranged agreement Not a contract. Not a cliché Something far greater. Who knew she'd find a new version of herself-and his hand waiting when she finally rewrites the meaning of home. Fair warning-this story drips with spice, tension, and slow-burn chaos. You've been warned. No instant fireworks , just a flame that builds until it's unstoppable🔥 A slowburn romance worth your time - give it a chance, dear readers. From one book lover to another. ~ "Stop smacking my chest, cara mia, or I swear I'll drop you right here." I nod toward the stairs, jaw tight. She giggles - soft, reckless, addictive. Those damn giggles... my oxygen. "Then I'll hold your collar and drag you down with me," she fires back, eyes daring me to move. I lean in, my breath brushing her ear. "Hmm, I've got better plans for you grabbing me by the collar, bella." Her eyes flicker - surprise, heat - before she smirks. "Sure, honey. Be good, and I might give you a treat." Her hand slips into my hair, tugging just enough to test me. I narrow my eyes, a low chuckle rumbling in my chest. "Oh, so that's how it is? You just turned my fantasy into a pet-owner game." Smart girl. I grin. Real sma
