Heroes used to keep us safe in the face of villainous crimes, they used to be the greatest line of defense we could count on, but as suddenly as they appeared they vanished. No trace of them was left when the world needed them the most. The world fell into despair when a massive unknown wave caused disaster all around the world. Everything we ever knew changed and our heroes, one can assume they died.

Any teenager knows that starting high school is the worst experience of their short lives. You're forced to associate with cliques, follow antiquated rules, conform to stereotypes, and also, be a hero. Except, for us, the last one is a little bit more literal. Not only do we have to navigate through high school, but we have to hold the pressure of being the next generation of superheroes as well.
