Humans... what selfish ugly creatures. They think they're all mighty and brilliant. The most hideous out of all species is what they are, oblivious of their true identity, they looked for "peace" making up a system that crushed the poor and slaughtered the weak, all is the doing of the egocentric humans who thought they were superior. Cruelty at its finest, "Breeds" is what the complex was known as, it was the eye of the hurricane, an evil storm, The beginning of darkness mischief and havoc... And there, on the edge, stood none other than him, watching all this chaos unfold... Editor of the description: @Anyone187 (great author by the way, she's brilliant!) Meridian has dedicated her life to the growth of her pack. When her mate mysteriously shows up in her life, things begin to seem perfect. That is, until unknown enemies threaten the stability of the pack she's worked so hard to build. Will she lose everything, or will her love truly be able to conquer all? "It's crazy, but I saw a wolf in the woods yesterday, and something told me I should follow it. I could, um, smell honey and coconut, and I followed that smell here. You probably think I'm insane," he mumbles, smiling sadly, "and you have guests, so I'll leave now." He must not be a wolf, because we can associate certain scents with friends and loved ones, and he seemed confused by the idea. But I can't deny the sparks we felt when we touched earlier, and before I can help it I'm calling to him. "Wait, please, come inside! I'm Meridian," I smile, holding out my hand. He smiles, saying, "I'm Malachi, nice to meet you," before shaking my hand, making goosebumps spread across my skin at the contact. Clearing my throat as I blush, I step aside and let him enter my home. If he's a human, this is the dumbest thing I've ever done."
