Following the point of views from the very unlikely lovers, this book is the story of how Belle and Micah would come upon a relationship that neither of them expected.
Micah isn't dead but he isn't alive. He is invisible to every human that walks the Earth and his job is to hand out people's fates by killing them. He's a lonely, dark guy who only wants someone other than Death and other Reapers to see him and is even on the prowl for someone to love.
Belle is a shy girl from the small town of Dove Bay who is not willing to talk with anyone since the death of her mother. Upon meeting Micah, she unleashes a powerful personality she never knew she had.
Using the magic of the Reaper, he gives Belle the ability to see Micah so he can make their love possible which in time it does.
What they don't realise is that their love and the use of the magic is illegal amongst the Reapers. Can their love keep them together or result in the death of Belle?
