"GET THE FUCK DOWN, NOW!" roared Carlos.
To their horror, they heard gunshots and glass breaking. Both girls started screaming as Carlos pulled out a pistol from his trench coat. Florida and Greta covered their ears, trying to duck as low as they could below the seats. Eileen sped down the freeway, dodging cars effortlessly.
Florida looked towards a horrified Greta and tried to calm her down, but the bullets flying into the car were making it hard for her to gather her thoughts. A bullet ripped through the passenger seat above her head as she screamed again, flattening her body lower to the floor. Carlos grunted at the impact as Florida realized with sudden dread that he was shot.
Suddenly, both girls' screams were swallowed up by a tremendous explosion behind them as Florida witnessed a partial view of a white vehicle door flying right past Eileen's window.
She was fighting to stay conscious but suddenly grew light-headed as white spots started to invade her vision.
Suddenly everything went to black on Florida.
