His partner smelled of lotus and spices. He smelled warm and at home and it triggered his first rut. When he recovered he realized his mistake. He didn't even know the Omega's name. But he realized that he was dangerous for the Omega. He refused to go in another rut. He avoided the Omega but the Omega never realized what he was doing. The Wens were trying hard to close Gusu Academy and build a resort there. When the CEO, Wen Chao sets up a fire to try and destroy the Gusu Library Wei Wuxian is the loudest voice of protest. That results in his home, Lotus Pier being auctioned and his adoptive family bankrupt. Lan Zhan must find a way to save his mate without scaring or scarring him.
