When the Great Zap fish goes missing and Callie disappears. Marie takes it on her self to recruit a strange Octoling from a far away land to help he assist in finding where Callie went. But a strange faction of Sanitized Octolings adorned with Advanced technology start to appear and the new agent Marie recruits seems to have the same strange powers. Things go form crazy to Bizzar when they discover a secret that has been sleeping below Inkopolis for thousands of years.

Strange hybrids of insects and cephalopods have come to Inkopolis bay to take everyone back to their home, wanting to please their ruler with the love for music, friends and battle that everyone has. Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. And none of the photos or characters that are in the book belong to me, unless I say so. Anyway, on to the description. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters.
