When faced with unbearable trauma and pain in the final moments, the brain creates and plunges the sufferer into an alternate reality, a so-called 'Happy Place'. For a mortally wounded Anand Batra, there remained too many unanswered questions on the verge of his death. Would his Happy Place answer a few of them? Account for the years he cannot recall anymore?

"Don't you see now why we can't be together?" I whispered at the crazy boy in front of me. "Aren't you repulsed by me? Disgusted? Dis interested? Can't you just tear my heart out and leave like any other normal teenage boy?" My voice cracked. He simply shook his head. A Vietnam veteran finds that 43 years after the war, it's getting harder and harder to control his thoughts, his actions. His memory scarred by the horrible events that occurred in that jungle, what seemed like a century ago. His brain puts his conscience on autopilot, and carries him off to his own personal hell. The stress is getting to him more and more in his older state, like he's dying more and more every time he flashes back to that dense forest, and is feeding the memory that kills him with his decaying state. He's afraid to sleep, afraid of being alone, for fear that it will consume him completely. It sometimes feels that all the possible happiness has left him, that he can no longer create good memories, only amplify the terrifying ones.Complete

They were despicable. And when her little girl gets obsessed with a badminton player she saw on the television, Akira already found herself hating a person who she hadn't ever seen or encountered. But Akira had never been fate's favoured child and seemed like this time she was destined to be that tale of Zeeshan's life, one whose imprint no waves of ocean can wash away.

5 people, taken right after their moment of death, cured of their fatal injuries and illnesses. They're happy to see each other, happy to be alive, but don't understand where they are or what's happened to them. There's this weird box in the corner of the room though, so... maybe that's their answer? Before they can open it, 4 new people charge in- 2 pairs, 1 familiar and the other unfamiliar. Though there's hostility, it seems that love can overcome it for now, and both are welcomed. Then the box whirls to life. It casts a bright light before them, and 3 words form in clear lettering. "8 Years Later".
The Recluse and the Soul Spirit
After an accident the spirit of a young man struggles to adjust, enter a handsome young man, and his world is turned upside down even more. The car screeched to a halt as the body flew over the bonnet, slamming to the ground in a sickening thud, the head slamming into the concrete and cracking upon impact. Warm red blood seeped onto the floor as the mouth gasped for breath, a bone sticking out of the chest of the young man on the ground. He gasped for air, his eyes blurred and fighting to stay open. The driver of the vehicle rushed to his side, she bent down and gasped at the sight of blood under the young man's head. Standing back up she backed up to her car, climbed in and drove away at speed, not caring about getting him help...feet ran towards the young man, and voices where heard talking to the emergency services. Hands felt his body all over, trying to offer comfort, but he could feel his life ebbing away.Complete
