14-year-old Miki Kenjō, stoic and aloof, is a reluctant street-brawling delinquent who gets into more fights than she likes to have. Yet, she always has good friends who always have her back. That is until she loses her closest friend, Yusuke, in a horrible accident. But just as suddenly, she gets him back. And while she should be happy and keep a closer eye on him, she unknowingly finds herself involved in dealing with demons and apparitions. Nevertheless, Miki decides to join him and a ragtag group of unexpected allies to protect her home from the evil that threatens it.
