I know others have suffered much more than I have. But although I'm not rich, I enjoy being who I am now, and this is a little of how I got here.

It's the true story of my child abuse, addiction, sexual assault, being kidnapped, testifying against the mob, nearly being shot in the face, and diving into drugs and alcohol to forget my childhood trauma, before I finally acknowledged God.

I spent most of my life intoxicated, believing I had no value to offer, hiding from the trauma of my childhood. And I truly believed I was worthless and had nothing to offer society, and spent most of my teen and adult years in a drug and alcohol induced stupper. When I truly found God in the mist of my littlest brothers death.

Then all my trials and tribulations became a beacon of hope for people with a similar past. And my childhoods innocents became a sacrificial offering to help others find freedom, and their own self-worth.

Therefore I look for people in our community that need help completing a project that they can't do alone. Then I try to find volunteers to help me complete the project, out of the broken masses.

Because encouraging people to help others, helps them heal, and find their own self-worth, through doing unselfish acts of kindness.

It's about showing people we hold the key to our own prisons cell. The key is knowing God and sharing his compassion and grace with others and we had it the whole time.

Growing in your relationship with God learning his word and doing his works is a great creating a great foundation to eventually find the ministry spoken in your life. And I think everyone has a ministry spoken that most of us ignored until we learn to listen.

And our jobs to take the light of his word into the darkness and cast demons out of those prisoned in the darkness.
