The mind is a most fluid medium. In it you can build the most profound of city environments without losing sight of their functions. This is unlike the cities of the physical world. Once you have built an object it is set in stone you must continue to build on its foundation or else go back to the beginning. It is because of this that you must take a look not just at the present good but also at the future and capital good This is so that the blocks you put on the ground will be a timeless piece of art. The only way to know the features of a timeless piece of art is to see it in the Platonic World - the world of forms where objects are truly real and not just the object of fancy. Trendy today and out of fashion tomorrow. The only problem is you can't express things you see in the Platonic World into the language of our physical world..That is except you are writing a poem. A poem captures the eternal nature of the Platonic World along with the immediacy of our preference for the present good. It is a one in a zillion singularity. It is possible for the words of a poem to raise up remote and future objects and set them to view as if they were present. This lends imagination to the power of reason and renders reasonable objects present in our physical world. So take your favourite poem from the store of poems made available to you and begin to build the city of your dreams.
