The Love Boat Diner has been Ophelia ‘Phee’ Mather’s haven for as long as she can remember. So, it seems like a good place as any for Phee to sit single and alone on Valentine’s Day. In the midst of a persistent bout of insomnia and a pair of cupcake pyjama pants, she sits in her booth with a vanilla milkshake, watching the world go by.
It is here on this night (in booth number seven, to be exact), that Phee watches Johnny and Celeste fall in love.
This is a love story.
It just isn’t hers.

Even her higher education was useless in this new endeavor of her life, but what else was there? Her wish was to travel, to see the world, to experience new cultures and being poor was not going to stop her. Logan and his bandmates had just finished with their concert and were on their way to the next location when they were in a horrible accident. Logan's bandmates were injured and released days later, but he remained in a coma. After being in a coma for months, his family didn't think he was getting any better and decided they were going to pull the plug, until his nurse Bodhi, refused to let that happen, and removed him from the hospital before they could. Bodhi was seeing signs of him getting better, and couldn't see anyone wanting to take his life away. She felt he would regain consciousness on his own, and knew she had to save him.
