When Izuku was born there was an agreement between his mother and his father. Thanks to this he lived 10 years alone with his mother but after these ten years she decided his father has to take his part and put Izuku in his care.

Now what if that very father was no other than Sir. Nighteye? 

With his mother pulling him straight to the hero agency and to his father, he was now completly left wondering if anyone wanted him at all.
