Two straight best friends find themselves on shaky ground when one pushes the limits of their friendship. Lucas, teasing, leans in closer. "You'd kiss anyone, huh?" His voice is low, taunting. The other swallows hard, trying to maintain control. "So... would you kiss Kim?" Lucas stands, moving closer, his voice steady but charged. "Reece?" He takes another step forward, his gaze unwavering. "Jaden?" But the moment shifts as Lucas steps between his legs, his face now inches away. "I'm talking to you, Kaden," he murmurs, voice barely above a whisper. "Would you kiss them-if they weren't me?" Caught off guard, Kaden can only shake his head. No. Then Lucas's lips curl into a small grin, and in an instant, he closes the gap between them, kissing him fiercely. Kaden freezes at first, his breath sharp with shock. But he doesn't pull away.
