Chasing Sunset

"I just wish one day everything will change. I just want to be a normal guy. My grandfather once told me that every sunset is an opportunity to reset. Kaya andito ako lagi. Hoping and holding on to that thought na one day, maybe one day.. if i chase enough sunsets.. i'd get to reset everything in my life and live it the way i want it to."

I gulped another swig of beer and looked at her. She was also staring back at me. Siguro mas lalo siyang na weirduhan. But her eyes. That sad eyes. Hindi ako makawala sa titig niya. I want to look away but I can't. I can see the sadness. I can see the emptiness. The eyes that mirrored mine.
