The Warrior Cats series Power of Three and Omen of the Stars are often thought of as the weakest in the series. The plot stretched over two arcs, leaving the former on a cliffhanger, the characterization was often sloppy, and although the story had a lot of ideas and ambition, it didn't succeed in much of the execution. I seek to rewrite these into one 7 book series without making drastic changes to the characters or plots involved in the story, though changes do get more noticable the further in the series you go. This first book covers the story of Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw in their early childhoods and apprenticeships, starting friendships, learning the ropes of living in the clan, and making some missteps along the way, as anyone would expect them to. It roughly covers the plots of The Sight and Dark River from the Power of Three series and will end with a warrior ceremony for our main characters, and them learning a significant detail about their lives that will guide the rest of the series.

When an accident flips Breezepaw's life upside down, it seems like all her hopes are shattered, meanwhile Ripplepaw has no dreams of her own, dreaming for others but never herself. It seems like a mistake to give four vulnerable apprentices powers that threaten to destroy the fabric of the Stars. But when it happens, the four siblings must learn to live with their powers, else allowing the death of the Clans... SPOILERS FOR BOTH OF THEM BELOW: Four moons have passed since Weatherfall left Snowclan for Waterclan. He finally feels at home in his new Clan, where none of his Clanmates compare him to his sister, Rockflight. However, Weatherfall starts seeing her ghost wherever he goes, haunted by his guilt. But that's not the only ghost he sees... Cloudyfang, a mysterious cat, visits Weatherfall with whispers of a great darkness coming, and instructions on how to save all the Clans... Briarclaw, now the only medicine cat in Snowclan, was also warned of the darkness. He has no idea what to do and feels lost managing his clan alone. After a new murderous Clan arrive at their borders, and tensions rise between Snowclan and Airclan, Briarclaw learns more about his family than he ever bargained for, and realizes that he might be connected to the prophecy after all...
